Spokane

At 32 pounds, there’s barely enough body to shoulder all of Lahla’s personality. She’s got pizzazz, and is taking on the world. The 4-year-old dreams of becoming a chef, a musician or maybe a doctor. None of these would be an option if not for the love of an extended family, the expertise of her doctors and clinicians, and the benefit of an organization that believes the best way to build healthy communities is by helping families and children like Lahla.

Wonderful! I’m so blessed by this story and so happy the little girl and family were helped by this wonderful program. I actually know several people that have been helped by Providence and am so blessed to have been able to tell a young lady the other day about Providence and the help they give. She had been told that there was nothing more that could be done about her condition (she would collapse and be unable to move for extended periods of time) by another place, having been referred there by Planned Parenthood. Thanks

What a wonderful story. I am so proud to be a part of the family that is Providence. After 28 years, I am still in awe of what we give to others. This is an organization that lives out their mission and values and are continuing what the Sisters of Providence started.

What a wonderful story of healing at Providence. Providence has been a commiitted partner with the Spokane County Medical Society (SCMS) Project Access physician member volunteers, both of which have given of their time and resources to help those low income individuals without health coverage who would otherwise fall through the safety net. CONGRATULATIONS on your continued service to the community. Keith Baldwin, CEO, SCMS.

Wow. What a story to showcase our community involvement. As employees we should be proud of what we do and how we reach out.
